Im an OVERsized sterling silver soap spoon. (mispelling intentional) Gulping down life in large servings. Sterling cause its the color of Julie's hair - and occasionally mine - soup cause its the only thing i know how 2 make (recipes avail upon request) xoxo Love u Jewel.

I most identify with a slotted spoon as I'm an information sifter.

Well here I am in Los Angeles for the past 15 years and I'm just getting used to it. It's hard to shake the lower east side and truth is I would never try to. I am a chef's knife. Multipurpose but with an edge.

My first impulse was to side-step the entire list and choose my own utensil -- an oyster shell, or the piece of coconut hide slashed from the coconut itself with a machete to use to scoop out the meat. Or fingers dipped in a tin bowl of rice. But were any of those "me"?

always have been.

I capture and hold on to only the most important pieces of the meal letting everything else past without a second thought. I can sometimes be intricate and others plain but I always serve my purpose.
